Dim Sum Breakkie : SS2

Morning peeps! Today mommy, cousin Ivan & I decided to have early breakfast at Loong Seng restaurant. This restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember (around 20 years) and they specialize in dim sum. If you don't know what dim sum is, it's a type of Cantonese food prepared in small bite sized portion served on small plates or in the traditional steamer baskets. I've only tried dim sum at a few places but I really like the ones they sell here. At Loong Seng, they sell more than 35 types of dim sum such as siew mai, har gao, wu kok, chee cheong fun, loh mai kai, egg tart, dumplings, all types of pau, porridge and even logan tau fu fa dessert. The dim sum here is made by hand daily to ensure the quality and its freshness. They cater their dim sum to everyone everyday, starting from 5am up until 2pm. If you're looking for somewhere nice to have breakfast or brunch, do drop by! You won't regret! :D

Be early! It starts to get pretty packed around  9am

Just look at all the siew mai  O_O *drools*

My all time favorite! Must try!! wu kok
* Made from deep fried yam with meat pieces and peas filling

A great variety of pau
( kaya, custard, char siew, lin yong, pandan etc)

I'm not sure what the yellow ones are called
but they have century eggs inside!

I like to dip my dim sum in sweet sauce instead of chili ^^

Different types of deep fried yummies

Fu-chok

Do try the pan fried dumplings.
They're really good! :D
RM6

 char siew pau
*Tastes not bad, the amount of filling is proportionate with the size of the pau
and is served piping hot!

This is what it looks like inside. Simple hawker style.
They also have upstairs which is air conditioned for those who dislike the heat.
